Our Maison

Our
terroir

Nestled in the heart of the Mediterranean, Château Galoupet enjoys an exceptional microclimate and terroir. Sheltered from climatic extremes by its unique location and shaped by the Provençal winds, our organic vineyard flourishes across three distinct micro-terroirs. This remarkable natural diversity, combined with carefully managed viticulture and a strong commitment to agroecology, enables us to craft distinctive organic rosé wines.

A privileged Microclimate

Located in the heart of the Mediterranean, the birthplace of rosé, our vineyard benefits from an exceptional microclimate. Its proximity to the sea, together with the protection offered by the surrounding natural barriers, shields the vines from extreme weather conditions, creating ideal conditions for grape ripening and aromatic expression. Shaped by the Provençal winds, this unique terroir enjoys a warm, temperate environment where the Mistral and the sea breeze naturally purify the soils, promoting healthy viticulture and the production of outstanding organic wines.

Crystalline
Provence

Crystalline Provence is the region's oldest geological formation. Stretching along the Côte d'Azur between Toulon and Cannes, this mountainous belt is home to a remarkable diversity of soils. Rather than limestone, Château Galoupet's vineyard is composed of layers of metamorphic rock and encompasses three distinctive micro-terroirs: quartz, schist sandstone, and colluvial soils. This geological mosaic imparts unique characteristics to the grapes, allowing each grape variety to thrive in the soil best suited to its nature.

An open-air
laboratory

Our ambition is to restore natural balance and bring all the estate's resources back to life. As part of this journey of continuous improvement, the estate innovates through specific practices. Organic viticulture, agroecology, and reasoned, responsible farming practices have been combined to regenerate the ecosystem and support the life of native species.
