Château Galoupet aims to express the full potential of its terroir through gastronomic wines with notable ageing potential. Our Cru Classé Côtes de Provence is a premium and complex rosé with body and a long, saline finish.
The elegant and intense nose reveals a great fruity richness. Aromas of juicy mango and peach subtly blend with notes of fresh lemon zest. Floral nuances of jasmine and rose, combined with vanilla touches, harmoniously bestow a beautiful complexity.
The palate reveals a remarkable balance between richness and freshness, reminiscent of cédrat, raspberry, and fleshy, juicy summer fruits like brugnon. The crisp attack gives way to a creamy mid-palate and a silky texture. The persistent finish, full of character, is marked by saline notes.
The year 2025 is marked by generosity. The terroir benefited from a wetter year than usual, which greatly benefited the harvest, making it both abundant and exceptionally rich in aromatics. This excellent harvest is also the result of the regenerative agriculture work deployed on the Estate for several years, strengthening our conviction: working with Living systems allows us to craft exceptional wines.
The grapes are harvested at night at optimal aromatic ripeness. Once cooled, grapes are pressed directly at low pressure. The musts are cold settled and then fermented at 16°C in stainless steel tanks for about fifteen days. The wines are then aged on fine lees.
G de Galoupet is presented in one of the lightest bottles in the world, weighing only 300g, which reduces its carbon footprint by half compared to a standard rosé bottle. This not only saves energy during the production process but also during its transport. Its amber bottle is also made up of 85% recycled glass, which limits waste. Zero plastic, zero aluminium: its capsule and label are entirely made from recyclable paper.
