Château Galoupet aims to express the full potential of its terroir through gastronomic wines with notable ageing potential. Our Cru Classé Côtes de Provence is a premium and complex rosé with body and a long, saline finish.
The year 2025 is marked by generosity. The terroir benefited from a wetter year than usual, which greatly benefited the harvest, making it both abundant and exceptionally rich in aromatics. This excellent harvest is also the result of the regenerative agriculture work deployed on the Estate for several years, strengthening our conviction: working with Living systems allows us to craft exceptional wines.
Grapes are harvested at night, at optimal aromatic maturity. Once cooled, the berries are directly pressed at low pressure. The musts are cold-settled, then a portion ferments in stainless steel tanks for about fifteen days. For the Cru Classé, a distinct approach is adopted: for this vintage, 50% of the final blend undergoes precise ageing in 600-litre French oak barrels, either new or one year old. This method aims to give the rosé a more structured terroir profile, ensuring great ageing potential.
Château Galoupet Cru Classé Côtes de Provence 2025 is presented in a distinctive and lightweight (499g) amber bottle made from 85% recycled glass. Its cap is made of wax and its back label from recycled paper, which avoids the unnecessary presence of aluminum or plastic. Not only does doing so prevent waste, but it also saves energy during the production process and transportation. This would not have been possible without our partners who supported us in the development and creation of this lightweight bottle, with full traceability and transparency.
