Robert Parker Rating Château Galoupet Cru Classé 2022
Château Galoupet Cru Classé shines remarkably in the reviews of Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate for the 2022 Côtes de Provence rosés. With an excellent score of 91+/100, our rosé ranks among the most distinguished in its category, securing sixth place.
Tasting Notes
"A blend of 58% Grenache, 12% Tibouren, 11% Syrah, 11% Rolle, 6% Cinsault and 2% Sémillon, the 2022 Cotes de Provence Rose was matured 30% in 600-liter French oak barrels (62% new and 38% one-year-old) and left on the lees for four to five months. Fresh and gently oaky, the bouquet is refined and complex with aromas of pear, peach, red berries, spices, grapefruit, menthol, iodine and red berries. Juicy and fresh, the wine is perfectly balanced, sappy and textured on the palate, with a long, very fresh finish. It needs one or two years in bottle, but you can already see its potential."
Falstaff Rating Château Galoupet Cru Classé 2022
"Light salmon pink, silver reflections. Delicate red forest berryish aroma, strawberries, peach and fresh orange zest, mineral notes. Full-bodied, fine fruit, yellow apple, well-integrated acidity, dark minerality, shows length, good ageing potential, a full-bodied food wine with a salty finish."
